The short second series, Personal Correspondence and Clippings, contains a few folders of correspondence, mostly between Bloodgood and Harry T. Peters. Sections were divided by labeled tabs, created by the original creators. Both the records of the Bryn Mawr Horse Show and the Bryn Mawr Hound Show are included in this register.

Many of these items appear to have been removed from bound volumes. A few titles include multiple copies; these are generally versions printed by another printer or revised at a later date. The items in this collection have been arranged alphabetically by song title. The dates given for the pieces have been gleaned from Robert Henderson's Early American Sport (1977). Also included in the collection are several of Cassidy's calendars. All of the drawings and most of the printed materials include Cassidy's trademark signature, the cattle skull formed from the "C" and "Y" of his last name. Keene Genealogical Materials, and Miscellaneous. The materials in each series consist of articles and clippings (mostly photocopies) about members of each family, as well as Templeman's notes and her correspondence with various editors, friends, and librarians who assisted her with her research. A point of interest in this collection is that, although both Foxhall Keene and John O. Although the diaries for 1940 to 1943 are fairly complete, the first volume is nearly empty except for three dates of hare hunting in 1934 and 3 months of foxhunting in 1955. In addition, several of the volumes have been inscribed to either particular hounds or Rebecca Lanier Trimpi, an accomplished sportswoman, who became master and huntsman of the pack in 1935. Around 1929 he produced a series of five albums chronicling American thoroughbred sires and mares, still considered to be masterpieces; the albums in this collection were created in the same vein.

The entries in each diary have been written on preprinted forms so that information such as the date, weather, number of couples, location, and any additional remarks can be recorded. The diaries are thought to have been created by Charlie Carver, who served as huntsman for Thomas for twenty-two seasons. The materials within each series are arranged chronologically.
Treweryn Beagles Hunting Diaries, 1930-1987 (MC 0016)
The Treweryn Beagles Hunting Diaries chronicle nearly sixty years of hunting and competition by the pack, from 1930 to 1987. The last two diaries, dated 1952-1971 and 1971-1987, contain results from hound shows and field trials in which the Treweryn (and later the Treweryn-Nantucket) Beagles competed. The diaries dating from 1931-1932 to 1938-1939 were written in the back of Baily's Hunting Directory, an annual English publication containing information on hounds and hunting in Great Britain. In 1997 J. Clayton Bright, a member of the hunt and a personal friend of the Sharps, edited and published those diaries as a book, The Treweryn Hunt Diaries, 1939-1953, a copy of which is held in the Library's section on Beagling.

Walker Hounds Pedigree Book, 1867-1913 (MC 0023)
The Walker Hounds Pedigree Album is a detailed compilation of pedigree charts for several Walker foxhounds owned by A. V. Huyler as well as for the foundation hounds of the Walker strain. The album contains over 360 entries for Walker hounds dating back to several foundation hounds such as Imp. Marth, Spotted Top, Aggie II, and Scott No. 7 in the 1860s and 1870s. Pedigrees going back five generations are represented, as is information such as sex, coloring, full name, AKC number, date of birth, and breeder. While most of the information appears to have been entered mostly by Huyler and Woods, the existence of several different handwriting styles suggests that this book was added to by various breeders to create a more detailed record. There is some cross-referencing to other entries in the book. Also included at the back of the book are several pages of pedigrees for Shetland ponies and Thoroughbred horses.
Warrenton Hunt Photograph Album, 1936-1937 (MC 0032)
The Warrenton Hunt Photograph Album consists of 16 black and white photographs taken and compiled by noted author, illustrator, and photographer Bert Clark Thayer during the hunting season of 1936-1937. Gerald B. Webb, Jr. Photograph Albums, 1935-1961 (MC 0010)
Gerald B. Webb, Jr., a longtime horseman and foxhunter, co-founded The Middleburg Chronicle (which later became The Chronicle of the Horse) with Stacy Lloyd in 1937; he served as the magazine's managing editor until his death in 1947. The Gerald Webb Photograph Albums consist of 16 albums containing photographs of various equestrian events throughout the Middleburg area from 1935 to 1941. However, a few photographs date beyond Webb's death; presumably the scrapbooks were continued by members of The Chronicle's staff. The sequential numbering of the albums appears to reflect a rough chronological order, and some photographs seem to be grouped according to subject matter. Thus, the albums have been arranged according to their assigned numbers, with the unlabeled album housed first.

The Ellen B. Wells Papers have been arranged into two series: Correspondence and Publication Announcements. The second series, Publication Announcements, consists of printed announcements for books on equestrian topics published between 1930 and 1991.

The Peter Winants Papers consists of materials related to the researching and writing of Winants' book, Steeplechasing: A Complete History of the Sport in North America (2000). These papers, which include photographs, correspondence, and biographical and historical information on numerous subjects, have been arranged into five series based upon Winants' original organization: Illustrations, Correspondence, Invoices and Expenses, Research Material, and Typescripts. Upon his retirement at age 65 in 1991, Winants became director of the National Sporting Library, a position he held until 1999. He is now director emeritus of the Library.

The remaining album features photographs taken during Wing's service with the A.E.F. from 1917 to 1919. Many of the people, horses, and places represented in the albums have been identified by Wing. The overall physical condition of the albums is good: two have detached covers with the result of some tattered pages, and two others show signs of mold. The albums in this collection have been arranged chronologically.
*Witez II Pedigree Album, 1808-1955 (MC 0036)
The *Witez II Pedigree Album consists of a large leather-bound album containing 109 pages of pedigree charts and photos of horses in the lineage of the Arabian stallion *Witez II. Entries include such information as the name, color, foaling date, sex, and registration numbers. Not every entry has a photograph of the horse. The album also contains several loose pedigree charts, as well as pages of entries added at a later date. The earliest entry in the album is that of Polka, foaled in 1808; the latest is that of *Witez II himself, 1938. The original compiler of the album is unknown, although a letter to Forrest E. Mars from Milton Thompson indicates that Thompson's wife compiled one of the photostat pedigrees included in the album.
