Giving levels confer a number of benefits, including invitations to lectures and events.

Contributors to the Library receive notices of lectures, exhibtions and other events, as well as the NSL Newsletter, which has articles on current and historic issues, book reviews and information about Library activities.

Those who contribute $50 and abover are eligible to bid on rare and contemporary books in the Library's annual Duplicate Book Sale, a silent auction held each year. The sale often includes hard-to-find books on horsemanship, racing, foxhunting, sporting art and other sporting subjects.
