Books, Posters, and DVDs

 

The National Sporting Library sells a number of books, exhibition catalogues, posters, and DVDs related to its exhibitions and programs. These make perfect gifts and all of the posters are suitable for framing and display.

Please call or email Judy Sheehan at 540-687-6542 x 10 or jsheehan@nsl.org to place your order, or print out the order form and mail or fax it to us at 540-687-8540. Please provide a contact phone number in case there are any problems with the availability of the items requested.

Used sporting books are available through our annual duplicate book sale. Bidding for the 2009 sale is closed, but unsold books are available for purchase for the minimum bid price. The 2009 DBS catalog and a list of remainders is available. Contact Lisa Campbell at lcampbell@nsl.org or 540-687-6542 x 13 to arrange purchase.

The Library maintains a "sale rack" by the elevator on the ground floor of duplicate titles, with hardcovers available for $5 and paperbacks for $2. There are some real bargains!

Inspired by Alexander Mackay Smith's publication, The Songs of Foxhunting (1974), the program was directed by William Backer and organized by Lena Lundh, both members of the Orange County Hunt.
